What this website does with your information
This statement covers the public ACIC-PUSH website. It will be superseded by the Centre’s formal Privacy and Data Protection Policy once that document is approved and published.
Current status of this website
Form submission routing and website analytics are not connected in this release. At present the site does not transmit, store or process any personal information you type into a form — validation happens entirely in your browser and nothing leaves it.
Information the Centre will collect
When the submission routes are connected, the following will be collected through this website, and only for the purposes stated:
- Idea submissions: your name, contact details, affiliation, and the problem and idea you describe — used to assess and respond to the submission.
- Programme applications: the information in the application form — used to assess the application under the published admission criteria.
- Mentor and partner registrations: your professional details and areas of expertise or interest — used to build the mentor and partner network.
- Enquiries and grievances: the details you provide — used to respond and, where relevant, to keep a record of the matter.
How it is used
Information is used to operate the Centre’s programmes: to assess submissions and applications, to contact you about them, to match innovators with mentors and partners, to run events, and to compile aggregate reporting. Aggregate reporting never identifies an individual.
Publication and consent
Nothing you submit is published without your agreement. Directory entries for innovators, ventures, mentors and partners are published only after the person or organisation concerned has confirmed what may appear. Photographs of participants and community members are used only with consent.
Access and retention
Access is restricted by role. Sensitive startup, investor, financial and personal data is available only to the staff whose function requires it, and is never published to this website. Retention periods will be set out in the Centre’s formal policy and in any applicable statutory requirement.
Sharing
Information is not sold. It may be shared with mentors, reviewers, partner institutions or funding bodies where that is necessary to assess or support your submission — and where you have been told that it will be. Statutory disclosures are made where the law requires them.
Your rights
You may ask what information the Centre holds about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted where there is no continuing need or legal obligation to retain it, and withdraw consent to publication at any time. Requests should be made through the contact routes.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets no advertising or tracking cookies. Analytics, when introduced, will be privacy-conscious: aggregate traffic and engagement measurement, without profiling of individual visitors.
Security
The platform is required to operate over HTTPS with authentication, role-based access, backups, applied updates, spam protection and audit logs.
